Homemade Recipes

Homemade food warms your soul and puts you in a good mood. Another good thing to have when thinking about food, is a good recipe. Without having a good recipe, there is no real good place to start in the kitchen.

Family recipes are the best to keep, because they are passed down from generation to generation. These are the recipes that really hit home to me and I'm sure to everyone else. It is a taste you can't describe, a taste of your culture being passed down.

I hope to one day start my own recipes that I can pass down to my family. One of the dishes that I love and made my own version of was general tso's chicken.

Don't be discouraged! Sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error to get the recipe the way you really like it. There's many places to find recipes at, but one good site I love to visit is FoodWishes.

Chef John is one of my favorite cooks in the online community. He loves food and has a great way of showing it. Go and check out his passion for food and learn some great recipes he has to offer.

Homemade

Growing up in a house with a Mom who loved cooking, I can tell you that food becomes a part of your life. I was taught to try everything at least once and still live by that. Food brings people together like you would not believe.

The smell that radiates throughout the house of a home cooked meal or something savory being baked, brings a warm feeling to my stomach. Personally, who does not feel the same way?

Restaurants I like in San Antonio
  • Tip Top's Cafe
  • Thai Lemon Grass
  • Longhorn Cafe
  • Cheesecake Factory
  • Chama Gaucha
  • Paloma Blanca
  • Wild Fish

There are many other great places to try out, I thought I would just name a few to get your food cravings up. I also love to get away and venture out of San Antonio, and explore new horizons.

If you have any other places you can't live with out, please feel free to comment on my blog with your food experiences.
